Editorial principles
The short version: everything we publish is checked against a public source, and never bent to please anyone who pays us.
How we research
Every legal or statistical claim on Quoteble is checked against a primary public source, usually a state department of insurance or the state statutes themselves. If we can't point to the source, we don't publish the claim.
How we verify
Our state-specific pages show a "Verified [month year]" date. When a law changes or new data is published, we re-check the page against the source and update the date. If the date changed, someone actually looked.
Who writes this
Everything here is written by the Quoteble Editorial Team. We don't publish sponsored editorial, and our content is never altered to favor a marketing partner. Not a word.
How we make money
Carriers and partners pay us when you choose to connect with them. Comparing is free for you, always. The money side never edits the words. You can see who we work with on our insurance carriers & marketing partners page.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and update the page. Spot an error? Please tell us. We'd genuinely rather know.
